Rotary wing familiarisation (RWF) training course

 

 

Course Introduction

 

This one-day course is designed to provide an introduction to rotary wing aircraft. 

The course is aimed at National and European Aviation Authority Airworthiness Surveyors who may have a fixed wing background and are now becoming more involved with rotary wing operators and maintenance providers. 

The course is presented by an experienced Licensed Engineer Trainer who draws from a diverse background in rotary wing design, production, operations and maintenance.

The course is also open to other staff who may benefit from this course.

Training Methods

 

The course is designed as facilitation type training, where delegates can join in with comments and questions during the proceedings.  As well as classroom theory, the course uses helicopter components and technical manuals as reference material to supplement a stimulating and informative course.

 

 

 

Location

The course is carried out at SAS’ EASA 147 Approved Training Organisation located at Gloucester (Staverton) Airport in Gloucestershire.
